A Study of Addictive Behavior among University Students

Drug abuse is a public health issue, particularly among adolescents and young adults. Therefore, the purpose of our study to determine prevalence rate drugs use identify certain factors that can serve as predictors drug use. A total 431 students from Mohammed V University in Rabat participated this descriptive cross-sectional survey. The (regular users experimenters) was 32.9%. Cannabis has frequency 13%, whereas other substances psychotropics have 3.8%. most common average age onset substance 15. Males had greatest likelihood becoming addicts. We discovered high consumption university at end work, implying need establish programme combat addiction, starting point which will undoubtedly be prevention primary secondary school levels, requiring participation all those involved field education.
